Pennsylvanians infamously elected to the U.S. Senate a man with clear cognitive issues.
Two years after these same Keystoners gave the green light to a Biden presidency it’s clear that, in Pennsylvania, electing leftist partisans is paramount, even outweighing job qualifications.
Now, Fetterman may be barely able to talk but this outrageous action is speaking volumes.
It might have been a little lost in the shuffle given Joe Biden’s performance during his State of the Union address on Tuesday, but another Democrat was responsible for something just as outrageous during State of the Union address.
Few have reported on Freshman Sen. John Fetterman’s (D-PA) guest Tuesday Night, given that Fetterman remains hospitalized following a medical scare on Wednesday, which, according to his Senate office, was not a second stroke.
Fetterman brought a convicted murderer to the State of the Union who got out of jail early, thanks in large part to Pennsylvania’s leftist Board of Pardons, which Fetterman used to oversee.
According to Breitbart News, “Dennis Horton was found guilty of second-degree murder, along with his brother Lee Horton, stemming from a 1993 fatal shooting during a Philadelphia robbery. They both maintained their innocence throughout their prison terms, which lasted nearly three decades before they were granted clemency by then-Gov. Tom Wolf (D-PA) in 2021 at the recommendation of the state’s five-person Board of Pardons, chaired by then-Lt. Gov. Fetterman.”
Dennis “Freedom” Horton?
“I’m honored & privileged to introduce Dennis “Freedom” Horton as my guest to the #SOTU. Dennis and his brother, Lee Horton, were incarcerated for nearly 28 years for a crime they did not commit,” Fetterman tweeted Tuesday evening prior to President Biden’s address.

Fetterman’s claim of innocence on social media notwithstanding, while an appeal was filed in the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, the court ultimately upheld the lower court’s ruling that dismissed Horton’s appeal.
Nevertheless, the Board of Pardons recommended clemency for the Horton brothers in December, 2020.
Then-Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf later agreed to this, and announced commuted sentences for the Hortons and 11 other convicted murderers, all getting clemency recommendations from Fetterman’s Board of Pardons.
Wolf said, “These 13 individuals have served time for their crimes and deserve now a second chance.”
In a press release, Fetterman said, “Each of these Pennsylvanians is fully deserving of the chance to return to their families and start a new life.”
According to federal records, the brothers began receiving payments for their work on the Fetterman campaign shortly thereafter.
“They don’t deserve to be out in society”
But Reinaldo Alamo, the victim’s brother, said of the Hortons, “They took a human life, and they don’t deserve to be out in society.”
No doubt there are countless other family members of victims who share this point of view.
