Deep-blue cities have a radicalism problem.
The hard left is quickly taking over the Democrat Party.
Now the FBI is investigating one disturbing trend in this Democrat stronghold.
Seattle is one of many Democrat-run cities that has become a caricature of radical leftism.
During the months of George Floyd riots, Seattle was one city that endured an absurd autonomous zone run by Antifa terrorists.
The CHAZ (Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone)—which was later renamed the CHOP (Capitol Hill Organized Protest) to invoke images of the guillotine of the French Revolution chopping off heads—was allowed to operate for weeks before it quickly descended into violent crime and chaos.
But the radicals in the Emerald City have not gone away.
Now they are threatening Synagogues with white powder substances.
In light of the horrific terror attacks committed by Hamas against innocent Israeli civilians on October 7th, pro-Palestine—and even pro-Hamas—rallies have broken out all over the West.
And Jews have been targeted in hate instances.
That’s why the FBI was brought in to investigate multiple threats against synagogues in Seattle.

The FBI Seattle field office said in a statement, “The letters were safely collected. Laboratory testing at this time has not indicated a risk to public safety. Additional testing will be needed to fully characterize the material in the letters…The FBI would also like to remind everyone to exercise care in handling mail, especially from unrecognized senders.”
Radical leftists have adopted the Palestinian cause into the broader international Left cause for so-called liberation of “oppressed” peoples.
For the hard left, every political issue falls into the oppressor versus oppressed neo-Marxist dialectic.
That’s why radical leftists across the West have ripped down posters of kidnapped Israelis, and some have even condoned and celebrated Hamas’s despicable attacks.
Jack Gottesman, board vice president for the Sephardic Bikur Holim Congregation, explained, “When a white powdery substance falls out of an envelope and onto somebody’s skin, no matter who that person is, that’s terrifying…There’s a lot of anti-Jewish sentiment in the world right now…It’s something that is, unfortunately, not new to our community. It wasn’t new to our parents; it wasn’t new to our grandparents; it wasn’t new to their grandparents. It’s something we’ve been dealing with for generations.”
The radicalism of the Left has opened the eyes of many centrist liberals, but the problem will not go away until the educational system is reformed.
