America’s southern border with Mexico is in a state of complete chaos, and thousands of illegal aliens flood into America on a daily basis.
Although the Left claims to support illegal immigration, many are rethinking their stance as these throngs of illegal aliens begin to show up on their doorstep.
And Eric Adams is pounding his fists in rage after this major legal defeat.
Some Democrats are starting to rethink their support of illegal immigration
For years now, Democrats have vocally supported illegal immigration, often making claims like “no human is illegal.”
But now that hordes of illegal aliens are arriving in their cities and communities, the tune is quickly changing.
In New York City, for example, Mayor Eric Adams is in a state of panic after busloads of illegal aliens have arrived in the Big Apple
In a desperate attempt to get rid of these illegal aliens, Adams tried housing them in hotels in Orange County, which is just outside of New York City.
This scheme is now set to end after New York Supreme Court Judge Sandra Sciortino ruled that Eric Adams can not send any more illegal aliens to other New York counties.
Orange County Executive Steven Neuhaus is behind the case, and released a statement after the ruling.
Per Neuhaus, “The city is a self-proclaimed sanctuary city; Orange County is not.”
He added, “We should not have to bear the burden of the immigration crisis that the Federal government and Mayor Adams created, and I will continue to fight for Orange County’s residents in regard to this important manner.”
As far as Eric Adams is concerned, the border crisis should not be New York City’s problem, despite New York City voting to become a sanctuary city several years ago.
Earlier this month, Adams said, “It is not about the asylum-seekers and migrants, all of us came from somewhere to pursue the American Dream.”
He added, “It is the irresponsibility of the Republican Party in Washington for refusing to do real immigration reform, and it’s the irresponsibility of the White House for not addressing this problem.”
New York liberals are learning that their “woke” causes have consequences
The immigration crisis happening in New York City, and other cities across the nation, reveals the hypocrisy within the Democrat Party.
For many leftists, supporting illegal immigration begins with a self-righteous bumper sticker and ends when these illegal immigrants actually show up on their doorstep.
New York’s sanctuary city policy is entirely to blame for this crisis, and perhaps New Yorkers will think twice the next time their city makes a braindead, “woke” move like that again.
