The riots of 2020 were nearly three and a half years ago, yet out-of-control crime still plagues many American communities.
To make matters worse, criminals seem to feel more emboldened and remorseless than at any other time in recent memory.
And now enraging footage has emerged of accused hit-and-run cop killers’ response to their victim’s family in court.
Chilling footage of these ruthless cop killers has the entire nation seeking justice
It is no secret that crime is on the rise, impacting nearly every community across the nation.
However, in Las Vegas, two teenagers took things to a whole new level after allegedly murdering a retired police officer.
At around 6 A.M. on August 14, 2023, Jesus Ayala, 18, and Jzamir Keys, 16, appeared to film themselves plowing into retired police officer Andreas Probst while he was on his morning bike ride.
Probst died as a result of his injuries, and as a result, suspects Jesus Ayala and Jzamir Keys face murder charges, and are both being tried as adults.
Given the intentional nature of this murder, many prosecutors would argue that this crime qualifies as first-degree murder, which carries a maximum sentence of the death penalty in Nevada.
On Tuesday, murder suspects Keys and Ayala appeared in court where they showed absolutely no remorse for their alleged crimes.
Even worse, the suspects were seen laughing with each other, and Keys even appeared to give the family the middle finger in the courtroom.
If that was not enough, the two alleged murderers started down the family of Andreas Probst as they left the courtroom, and smiled as they walked by.
Understandably, the Probst family is devastated, and these shameful actions only add insult to injury.
Taylor Probst, the 27-year-old daughter of Andreas Probst, spoke to the press about these shameful acts, and the impact they have on her family.
Per Probst, “How can you sit there after taking a man’s life, and act like such an entitled p—k? They really had no remorse, that this is just a game to them.”
She added, “They were just trying to mad-dog us and intimidate us, which didn’t work.”
What this heinous murder say about today’s society
The fact that these teenagers not only killed a man but bragged about it to his family shows just how callous these young men are.
These actions demonstrate the harmful effects that the Black Lives Matter movement has had on America’s youth, many of whom feel entitled to commit crimes without penalty.
After seeing older individuals riot and commit crimes without being accountable in 2020, it is fair to say that these young men probably thought they could do the same.
However, if they are convicted of either second-degree or first-degree murder, then they can expect to spend a very long time in prison, if not life in prison.
