California Governor Gavin Newsom spends a good portion of his waking hours complaining about Republicans.

Now the Democrat Governor who looks like the villain from all of Disney’s Saturday morning specials is trying to pull a fast one.

Because the Golden State Governor just made a mind-blowing claim that left Republicans with their jaws on the floor.

Gavin Newsom prides himself on being further left than even his aunt, Nancy Pelosi.

But it seems like reality has a way of slapping even some of the most so-called “progressive” troublemakers.

After spending years mocking conservatives and pushing every radical left-wing policy Democrats can dream up, Newsom is suddenly claiming that the end of the Donald Trump-era Title 42 border policy will “break” his state.

“The federal government is sending more and more flights, and more and more buses directly here to California because this state is doing what no other state’s doing—and that’s absorbing and protecting and preserving our values and advancing them by doing health care screenings, and taking care of folks, and the more we do, the burden is placed disproportionate on us,” Newsom claimed during an interview with ABC News.

Of course, the idea that California is being somehow disproportionately burdened due to its altruistic nature is a load of garbage.

As the bluest state along the southern border and one of the biggest population centers in the nation, Newsom should expect a load of illegal aliens as millions pour into the state.

But that doesn’t mean the current situation is sustainable.

“We’re already at capacity at nine of our sites,” Newsom added. “We can’t continue to fund all of these sites because of the budgetary pressures now being placed on this state and the offsetting issues that I have to address… The reality is, unless we’re doing what we’re doing, people will end up on the streets.”

The truth is it doesn’t matter what state leftists want to shuffle a tsunami of illegals into, American taxpayers can’t afford to put them up in style “just because.”

Thanks to decades of big government spending, taxpayers have already been saddled with debt accrued by meddling globalists out to police the world on America’s dime and Swamp politicians’ domestic vote-buying schemes.

California’s current situation—with about 2.4 illegal immigrants living in the state—was created thanks to the years Newsom has spent passing leftist policies making the state into a magnet for illegals.

According to Los Angeles Magazine his 2022/2023 budget even includes giving illegal aliens access to state ID cards and paying for their healthcare expenses.

But it seems when it comes to figuring out how those numbers are going to work the California Governor is at such a loss he’s nearly pining for the days when Donald Trump actually had a handle on the border.
