Joe Biden is desperate for answers as his policies are sinking the administration.
And many Democrats around the country aren’t faring much better.
Now Democrats are sweating bullets after what one shocking new poll revealed about an upcoming Governor’s race.
Democrats were stunned when Republican newcomer Glenn Youngkin defeated former Governor Terry McAuliffe in the race for Governor of Virginia.
They rationalized McAuliffe’s defeat as an off-year election oddity and “right-wing propaganda” about Critical Race Theory being taught in schools.
But the Democrats could face the possibility of losing New York.
Early polling shows that Republican challenger Congressman Lee Zeldin has a slight lead over Kathy Hochul, who took over for disgraced former Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Lee Zeldin (R) 46% (+2)
Kathy Hochul (D-Inc) 44%

New York leans heavily Democrat – in 2020, Biden won the state by 23 points.
But Donald Trump was uniquely vilified by the Democrat Media Complex.
Without him being on the ballot in the state, Democrats might be less motivated to go to the polls.
Also, crime and high taxes are two of the top issues New Yorkers care about.
The New York Post reported that the “hypothetical matchup is within the poll’s margin of error, which means the race is a dead heat. The survey of 800 voters, conducted by John McLaughlin & Associates, found that crime is the No. 1 issue, with one in five respondents citing it as their top concern. Another 17 percent of voters said taxes were their top concern.”
Democrats do not have a leg to stand on regarding crime and high taxes.
They favor pro-crime policies that contributed to a record-high increase in murder in 2020 (up 30% from 2019), and crime has remained a serious problem moving into 2022.
Also, leftists are itching to go further Left with more Big Government tax and spend schemes.
While socialist former New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio scoffed at tax refugees fleeing the state, Cuomo said the opposite.
Cuomo pleaded, “You got to come back! We’ll go to dinner! I’ll buy you a drink! Come over, I’ll cook!”
Cuomo may have been corrupt, but he knew that he needed a tax base to function.
Radical leftists think they can raise the cost of living infinitely and New Yorkers will just take it.
But they could slay the goose that laid the golden egg.
The stain of Cuomo’s scandals, high crime, and high taxes might leave a slight opening for a Republican to slip in.
New York had a Republican Governor as recently as 2006, so with the Democrats moving wildly to the Left, it’s not out of the realm of possibility.
