Worse yet, he has a sign outside his homeless encampment offering free fentanyl for new users.
Fentanyl is 50 times more potent than heroin, leading to an explosion in overdose deaths over the past ten years.

Despite the prior conviction and the “free fentanyl” sign, law enforcement has not been able to do anything.
Captain Chris Canning of the San Francisco Police Department commented, “We want to give them the help that they need to get their life in a better place…And for those who are denying that help and are choosing to live on our streets, then we’re going to use all the enforcement options available to us now that we have that understanding, that designation between voluntarily homeless and involuntarily homeless.”
The main problem is that leftists believe homeless people have a right to set up tents wherever they please.
Who would cry if this homeless sex offender camped outside a school with a “free fentanyl” sign got super high on his own supply and never woke up?
Despite shelters and vacancies in apartment buildings, the majority of homeless people choose to live on the street because they do not have to abide by curfews or drug tests.
As a result, homeless people are allowed to live in squalor on the street.
Nobody has been spared from the spread of crime.
CNN correspondent Kyung Lah wrote on social media, “Got robbed. Again. [CNN producer Jason Kravarik] and I were at city hall in San Francisco to do an interview for CNN. We had security to watch our rental car plus crew car. Thieves did this in under 4 seconds. Security stopped the jerks from stealing other bags. But seriously- this is ridiculous.”
Across the bay in Oakland, former Senator Barbara Boxer and Superior Court Judge Kevin Murphy were robbed on the street.
