Clarence Thomas has been harassed by the Democrats for 40 years.
They will not stop until they destroy him.
But Justice Thomas just put House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries into a living nightmare.
Democrats’ House caucus leader lands in hot water over newly-resurfaced Clarence Thomas writings
Democrats have been smearing Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas ever since he worked in the Reagan administration.
When George H.W. Bush nominated him for the Supreme Court, Democrats attempted to scuttle his bid with what was called at the time a “high-tech lynching” based on bogus sexual harassment allegations.
Since then, the Left have targeted Thomas for destruction.
And back in 1992, current House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) savaged Thomas and other black conservatives in an editorial.
Jeffries wrote something about Justice Thomas that will have your blood boilingÂ
Jeffries, then a student at Binghamton University, wrote a piece in the school newspaper titled “The Black Conservative Phenomenon.”
Jeffries warned that the “rise of the Black conservative…threatens to sustain the oppression of the Black masses.”
Jeffries wrote, “There has been a recent trend in the Black political arena which I believe threatens to sustain the oppression of the Black masses. The phenomenon I refer to is the rise of the Black conservative…The most notable indicator of this is the appointment of Justice Clarence Thomas to the United States Supreme Court.”
Black conservatives only threaten leftist identity politics, which is the part that Jeffries omitted from his piece.
He continued, “Perhaps the most frightening aspect of the rise of Black conservatives is their popular acceptance by the predominantly white media…Clarence Thomas, Colin Powell, and Shelby Steele are hailed as our leaders and pointed to as examples for us to follow. I find it suspect when the white power structure and their propaganda emissaries, the media, tell us who our leaders should be. Do you think that a ruling elite would promote individuals who seek to dismantle their vice-like grip on power? Of course not.”
This is textbook projection from Jeffries.
Thomas was savaged by “white media,” and author Shelby Steele has largely been ignored by the corporate press, as has Thomas Sowell.
Leaders who parrot the political priorities of liberals, such as Jeffries, are the ones who are crowned by “white media.”
It’s also quite telling that Jeffries used the word “frightening” to describe a meager rise in black conservatives.
Democrats require 85% of the black vote to maintain their power.
Figures like Thomas are ruthlessly attacked as a reminder of what happens to people who defy the Left’s identity politics narrative.
