The entire nation has found itself in the grips of a crippling crime epidemic.
Democrat controlled parts of America in particular have seen the worst of this crime wave, with law abiding citizens fearing to leave their homes.
Now Christians are terrified after this brazen attack unfolds in broad daylight.
Crimes against Christians have worshippers fearing for their lives
Most Americans are aware of America’s crippling crime problem, which affects nearly every community across the country.
This crime wave has hit Democrat-controlled parts of the nation especially hard, as these areas have placed a low priority on meaningful law enforcement.
As a result, cities such as San Francisco have seen an explosion in violent crimes, and nobody is safe, including religious leaders.
Just last Sunday, at the Saints Peter and Paul Church in downtown San Francisco, a parishioner was violently attacked after giving communion to an unidentified suspect.
The attack occurred right before Sunday’s evening church service at roughly 5:45 pm, and resulted in the alleged attacker fleeing the scene once police arrived.
Once law enforcement arrived on the scene, the suspect took off in a vehicle and threw what appeared to be an explosive device at police officers.
The suspect then continued to flee from officers before allegedly igniting a Molotov cocktail and a pipe bomb.
The suspect was eventually arrested, and miraculously, no injuries were reported as a result of the car chase and bombings.
According to city supervisor Aaron Peskin, when the suspect was arrested he was very confused and believed that he was playing a video game.
More specifically, the suspect asked officers “how many points he got in his Grand Theft Auto game” referring to the hit video game Grand Theft Auto, in which players drive around a fictional city causing mayhem.
Peskin later told the San Francisco Standard that “In 23 years of doing this stuff, this is probably the most bizarre.”
This deadly police chase is just one of many scary attacks that has plagued the City by the Bay
San Francisco has become one of America’s most crime plagued cities.
Retail theft, drug crimes, and random acts of violence have become the norm.
Following the death of George Floyd in 2020, San Francisco took significant steps to protect criminals, making it harder than ever to hold them accountable for their actions.
Law abiding citizens, and in this case commuters and worshipers, are the ones who are paying the price once again.
Many residents have chosen to flee the city in recent years rather than tolerate this constant depravity.
