Blue state governor was caught red-handed with egg on his face after one Biden-generated crisis

Joe Biden has failed on multiple fronts.

Even members of his own party are calling him out.

And this blue state governor was caught red-handed with egg on his face after one Biden-generated crisis.

Joe Biden exacerbated the border crisis when he reversed all of Donald Trump’s effective border policies upon taking office.

The result has been record-high border encounters with no end in sight.

Stretched far beyond their limits, red states began busing illegal aliens to “sanctuary” cities like New York, Chicago, and Washington, D.C.

And suddenly the open borders Democrats began sounding like border hawks.

Now New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy is backing off his “sanctuary state” pledging by claiming that his state is filled to capacity.

During a television interview, Murphy said, “I don’t see any scenario where we’re going to be able to take in a program in Atlantic City or frankly elsewhere in the state. We are already seeing folks in New Jersey that have probably swelled into Jersey from New York City or from other locations, but you need scale, enormous amount of federal support – resources that go beyond anything that we can afford — putting everything else aside.”

Both New York Governor Kathy Hochul and New York City Mayor Eric Adams have called out the Biden administration for failing to deal with the crisis at the federal level.

In addition to Murphy, New Jersey GOP state representatives wrote in a statement, “The federal government and Biden administration has neglected its responsibility to deliver on its promises to formulate a solution, dragging countless state and local governments into a problem that is solely their responsibility to fix.”

It’s easy for Murphy and other Democrats to espouse “progressive” values when they aren’t affected.

The in your backyard crowd gets mad when it’s their backyard

But the rhetoric quickly changes when they’re forced to face the ramifications of their own ideology.

In one shocking moment, Democratic D.C. Councilwoman Brianne Nadeau said, “It’s been said and it’s worth reiterating that the governors of Texas and Arizona have created this crisis. And the federal government has not stepped up to assist the District of Columbia so we, along with our regional partners, will do what we’ve always done: we’ll rise to the occasion. We’ve learned from border towns like El Paso and Brownsville and in many ways the governors of Texas and Arizona have turned us into a border town.”

Nadeau is furious that her jurisdiction has been turned into a border town.

They are experiencing what Texas and Arizona have to deal with every single week thanks to D.C. policies.
