Few in Congress have gained the notoriety of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
Ever since she defeated longtime Democrat Joe Crowley in the 2018 primary, AOC has been all over Twitter and other social media.
But now, AOC’s primary opponent is slamming the Congresswoman as all talk and no action.
The drama all started on Twitter (because, where else?) when a medical student condemned members of AOC’s staff.
The staff members skipped a meeting with prominent medical academics with a dismissive, “We’re not doing healthcare right now.”
AOC apologized and said the missed meeting did not represent her or her values.
But New York State Senator Jessica Ramos, the incumbent Congresswoman’s primary opponent, was having none of it.
Ramos, the insurgent Democrat, pounced, saying, “Maybe if you spent more time in your office and with your team you’d know what goes on. Just saying it would be nice if you breathed our air. Our district offices are on the same floor in the same building. She’s barely ever present in the community. It’s an indisputable fact.”
This heavy-handed slam has been a long time in coming and you couldn’t ask for a more deserving person on the receiving end of it than Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
AOC has a history of poor constituent outreach all the while she seemingly lives and breathes on Twitter.
In April she was shunned by organizers who unionized an Amazon distribution center on Staten Island.
In their telling, the self-proclaimed Democrat Socialist and champion of labor had “left them high and dry” during their fight.
This occurred after the far-Left representative was key to killing a deal with that same Amazon that would have brought thousands of jobs to her district, and she was only too happy to watch it all go down.
At the time, her move generated disbelief across the political spectrum from the right to the sane left.
You went from 25,000 Amazon jobs in your district to just 1,500 being offered OUTSIDE your district.
You're an idiot if you think this is a success for your constituents.

But of course, it’s all performative with AOC and her constituents are starting to notice.
Just last week, the Congresswoman faked being handcuffed when she attended a pro-abortion demonstration in Washington, DC.
The same aspiring doctor who started the firestorm on Twitter over the missed healthcare meeting said, “So while she’s doing performative resistance art for the cameras she’s not doing healthcare right now.”
Republicans and everyday Americans who have seen plenty of AOC have known for some time that she is a publicity hound with little appetite for actually bettering the lives of her constituents, but it’s heartening to know that even her hard-Left acolytes are now being forced to admit the truth.
You love to see it.
