Sleeping Robert De Niro struck by serial burglar
Now Robert De Niro was the victim of theft after a serial burglar broke into his rented NYC home at 2:30 in the morning.
Fox News reported that a “repeat offender was caught breaking into Robert De Niro’s rented New York City townhouse and going through his things…while the actor and his daughter were home, according to police and reports. Shanice Aviles, 30, smiled for the camera as police led her out of the New York Police Department’s 19th Precinct stationhouse, en route for Manhattan court. The Manhattan woman, who has a history of ‘numerous burglary arrests,’ was charged similarly for her latest offense: breaking into the temporary home of the ‘Raging Bull’ actor and activist, police said. Aviles is accused of trying to get into several commercial properties on the Upper East Side of Manhattan before she set her sights on the 79-year-old’s East 65th Street townhouse at about 2:45 a.m. Monday, according to police and a New York Post report.”
Aviles showed zero remorse as she was being perp-walked by police officers.

Aviles has been arrested an absurd 26 times, and she has no signs of stopping.
Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Dylan Los Huertos told a judge, “She has repeatedly failed to take advantage of the rehabilitative services that enable her to detox and stay out of trouble and appear [for] court dates…The defendant demonstrated that she will not engage with services…She will not return to court and she will re-offend if she is released…There is no least restrictive means other than monetary bail…We have tried everything else, therefore significant cash bail is appropriate here.”
