To make matters worse, the District Attorneys who are tasked with punishing crime in these cities do not seem to care.
And now Alvin Bragg is hanging his head in shame after this ironic attack took place right under his nose.
New York City is turning into a glorified hub of crime
Following the death of George Floyd in 2020, the entire United States erupted in chaos and violence.
Three years later, crime is still raging out of control, especially in Democrat-controlled parts of America.
New York City is one of the hardest-hit cities when it comes to violent crime.
Despite this, New York City’s District Attorney Alvin Bragg is only concerned with one thing, and that is framing former President Donald Trump.
While Alvin Bragg is trying to put together his case against Donald Trump, New York City is boiling over with crime.
The New York subway is a particularly dangerous spot in New York, and cleaning up the subways was one of Eric Adam’s top priorities when he assumed office.
But just last Tuesday, an employee supervisor for New York City’s Metro Transportation Authority was brutally attacked in a New York City subway station.
The victim, Saim Montakim, was waiting for the No. 1 train at the 96th Street station on the Upper West Side when he was pushed from behind.
Montakim told New York’s PIX11 that “All of a sudden I was pushed by a stranger. It was totally unprovoked.”
Montakim nearly fell onto the tracks, but fortunately was able to grab onto a railing.
He then told PIX11 “At that time, he punched me in my face several times. It happened so quick that I was like shocked. I was pretty nervous. I didn’t know what to do.”
Okoro Nnamadi was later arrested for this brutal attack. In New York City, attacking an MTA official is a second-degree felony, however, Nnamadi was only charged with a misdemeanor.
New York City is falling to pieces at the hands of radical Democrats
While Alvin Bragg is trying to frame Trump, New Yorkers like Saim Montakim are afraid to even leave their homes to go to work.
Violent criminals, like the one who attacked Montakim, are getting glorified slaps on the wrist for committing horrific crimes.
Alvin Bragg’s refusal to hold violent criminals accountable for their crimes is causing people to flee New York City in droves, as they do not want to become the next victim of New York’s crime wave.
