Violent crime has exploded all across the nation, and nobody is safe from this outburst of crime.
People of all ages, as well as women and children, are under attack in America’s major cities with no end in sight.
And Alvin Bragg is grinning ear to ear after the unimaginable happened to a 60-year-old woman.
New York has completely lost its grip on violent crime
When Rudy Giuliani served as Mayor of New York City from 1994 to 2001, New York saw a rebirth that many believed was impossible.
Crime went down, and many dangerous parts of the city such as Times Square were transformed into booming tourist hubs.
Now that radical Democrats are calling the shots again, depravity and violent crime have become a part of daily life in the Big Apple once again.
Just last Friday at the West 116 Street and Lenox Avenue subway station in Harlem, a 60-year-old woman was beaten by her own walking cane.
The suspect is believed to be ex-convict, 43-year-old Norton Blake, who police let walk away from the scene.
According to the New York Post, the victim, Laurell Reynolds was bashed dozens of times on her head, body and elsewhere.
Reynolds spoke to the New York Post saying, “They should’ve arrested him!”
She added, “I don’t deserve that. Not at all, not at all … and I pray to God that it doesn’t happen to no one else. They need to keep that man off the street.”
When police arrived on the scene, the suspect and victim gave conflicting accounts of what happened, and police allowed Blake to walk away without any repercussions.
This attack has made national headlines, causing many people to reconsider visiting New York.
If 60-year-old ladies are not safe from violent crime, then it is fair to say that nobody is.
New York’s crime wave has many questioning whether black lives matter to Alvin Bragg
New York City’s far-left Manhattan District Attorney, Alvin Bragg, fancies himself a social justice warrior.
However, nothing about Alvin Bragg or his recent record suggests that he has ever been interested in fighting for real justice.
On a daily basis, millions of New Yorkers are paralyzed with fear when they leave their homes to go to work, shop, or simply take a walk.
This is particularly true in many of New York’s black communities which have been hard hit with crime as a direct result of Alvin Bragg’s refusal to uphold the law.
The truth is, the evidence indicates that if the GeorgeSoros-backed Manhattan District Attorney does actually care about black lives, white lives, or any life other than his own, he has a funny way of showing it.
