Socialists like to pretend they’re all about protecting the average member of society.
But one of the biggest leftists in Congress just blew the cover off that myth.

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez took her famous cluelessness to a whole new level with one of the wildest whoppers ever—and she’s going to have a tough time bouncing back from an error in judgement that blew way past cringeworthy.
Career politicos are scratching their heads after the representative shared a video from a radical New Zealand activist who claims inflation is “propaganda.”
According to the left-wing group the radical increase in cost of living is part of a scheme to protect “greedy shareholders.”

But promoting that nonsense is blowing up fast on AOC, who in the past has identified as a “Democratic Socialist.”
The New York Post found plenty of aggravated constituents in the Congresswoman’s home district who are now flat out questioning her sanity.
“Is AOC crazy?” certified nursing assistant Latisha Law asked. “Has she been to a grocery store recently? $1,000 ain’t nothing no more. $100 ain’t nothing no more. Maybe she should spend some time in the projects and really help people.”
The New York Post’s editorial board followed up that report with a piece tearing into the elected official’s failure to grasp reality.
“Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-Bx./Qns.) can’t stop lying about the effects of her beloved progressive policies,” the editorial board stated. “She’s now stooped to circulating conspiracy theories alleging inflation is mere “propaganda,” a smokescreen for greedy corporate stockholders.”
The editors pointed out that the nonsensical approach was so far off point even “the prez and his flacks have abandoned it” as a talking point.
Trouble was already on the horizon for Ocasio-Cortez even before this tone-deaf disaster.
Back in March, Statista reported that only 16% of those polled had a “very favorable” opinion of the Congresswoman while 33% reported holding a “very unfavorable” opinion of her.
Considering the pain caused by skyrocketing inflation that “unfavorable” number is likely to absolutely soar to reflect the number of constituents who are now livid over how the person who is supposed to be representing them is disregarding a very real struggle to make their dollars stretch thanks to the Democrats’ spend and burn strategies.
