Life hasn’t been pleasant for most Americans since Joe Biden took office.
And that’s twice as true in California where residents also have to cope with Gavin Newsom’s atrocious Left-wing policies.
Now a rare fever just leveled Joe Biden and Gavin Newsom.
Outbreak of bone-shattering illness spreading in the Golden State that has nothing to do with Democrats’ sanctuary policies
Over the past several years, blue state Democrats have been subjected to everything from humiliating inflation to crippling pandemic policies.
Californians fled the state in record numbers in 2020 and 2021, escaping oppressive pandemic policies and skyrocketing housing costs.
Since then, criminal activity has continued to escalate forcing retailers to abandon major California cities thanks to pro-crime policies that have emboldened shoplifters.
Despite the dumpster fire that Leftist policies have created, a huge portion of lifelong Democrats who remain in the state have managed to stay loyal to their party.
But their resolve is being severely tested.
Now with an election year looming, a new public health crisis in the Golden State could prove disastrous for both President Joe Biden and the man who wants to fill his shoes, California Governor Gavin Newsom.
Commonly referred to as “break-bone fever” Dengue virus is an excruciating illness apparently on the loose in California.
According to Pasadena’s Public Health department a California resident just contracted the illness.
This is the first time someone in the state has contracted the virus outside of travel related cases.
The miserable illness is carried by mosquitoes.
More than a mosquito prick lies at the root of this
Pasadena’s acting director of Public Health described the case as “an extremely rare case of local transmission in the continental United States. The Pasadena Public Health Department is conducting surveillance,” he added. “And field teams have visited a Pasadena neighborhood to offer information for preventing mosquito breeding around their homes and preventing bites.”
While the World Health Organization says that only one in four people actually experience symptoms from the virus, those who do aren’t likely to ever forget it.
Symptoms include a high fever, excruciating headache, bone-deep body aches, nausea, and a nasty rash.
The above-mentioned misery typically drags on for one to two weeks.
In rare cases something called “dengue hemorrhagic fever” or “dengue shock syndrome” can occur.
When that happens, the consequences can be fatal once blood vessel damage or leaking happens.
According to the Mayo Clinic when that rare situation occurs “the number of clot-forming cells (platelets) in your bloodstream drops. This can lead to shock, internal bleeding, organ failure and even death.”
Exactly what will unfold in the coming weeks is unknown, but the Democrats certainly can’t afford yet another crisis under their watch.
