Political polarization is the worst it has been in decades.
A big reason why is because the Democrats have run to the fringes of the Left.
And now a Democrat politician in Queens will never forget the encounter is doorbell video.
Americans are getting fed up with Democrat policies, even in blue areas.
Far-left district attorneys bankrolled by George Soros are implementing pro-crime policies that make communities less safe.
The Democrats averted a “red wave” in the 2022 Midterms, but they still lost control of the House of Representatives, and lost seats in unexpected places.
Republicans in New York fared better than most pundits thought they would.
Democrat politician knocked on one door and got a response he didn’t see coming
Perhaps the writing was on the wall based on trends leading up to the Midterms.
New Yorkers desperately elected so-called moderate Mayor Eric Adams, a former police chief, to replace communist Mayor Bill de Blasio, who once admitted that he would do away with property rights if he could.
And a recently released Ring doorbell video showed an encounter between a Queens resident and city council candidate Richard Lee.
Lee and a campaign staffer, both wearing masks, knocked on the resident’s door.
Lee said, “My name is Richard Lee, and I’m running for city council. I just want to say hello.”
The resident asked, “Are you a Democrat?” to which Lee responded, “Yes, I am.”
“Then leave,” the resident curtly replied.
Lee retreated and said, “Okay, thank you.”

For many people, even in New York, the Democrat name is mud.
Republican Vickie Paladino ended up flipping the city council seat.
It’s no wonder the Queens resident quickly rejected Lee, who ran on a far-left platform.
During the campaign, Lee said, “Personally, I have spoken out against many of the policies that the Trump administration has advanced. So many of this administration’s policies attacked many of my core values – immigrant rights, women’s right to choose, curbing gun violence, among so many others.”
On healthcare, Lee said, “I wholly support a single-payer universal health care system. All New Yorkers, regardless of employment or immigration status, should have access to quality healthcare. Immediately, as a short term step to increase health care accessibility, we need to improve our [Health + Hospitals] system.”
These have become central issues to the Democratic Party.
Moderates are being squeezed out aggressively by a radical left-wing agenda.
