And pistol-packing Congresswoman Lauren Boebert has become a top target for partisan smears.
But a close aide to Lauren Boebert has confirmed that the salacious rumors about charges leveled against her are true.
It seems virtually impossible for the radical Left to leave their political bias at the door
Nothing beats taking the family out on the town for dinner and a show.
But for outspoken Conservatives the possibility that some radical left-wing activists will try to turn a fun night out into a political hit job has seemed to skyrocket in recent years.
And Congresswoman Lauren Boebert just learned the hard way that something as routine as attending a musical can be virtually impossible in today’s politically-charged environment.
Last Sunday at a showing of the musical adaptation of the hit film Beetlejuice at the Buell Theater in Denver, the Colorado Republican was escorted out of the theater after allegedly laughing and singing along too loudly.
The Denver Post reported on this incident Tuesday, and quoted one of the ushers involved who said Boebert’s party refused to leave the performance.
“I told them that they need to leave the theater and if they do not, they will be trespassing.”
The usher added, “The patrons said they would not leave. I told them I would (be) going to get Denver Police. They said go get them.”
Boebert’s campaign manager, Drew Sexton spoke to the Denver Post, saying “I can confirm the stunning and salacious rumors: in her personal time, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is indeed a supporter of the performing arts (gasp!) and, to the dismay of a select few, enthusiastically enjoyed a weekend performance of ‘Beetlejuice.’”
Boebert took to X to respond to the incident as well, stating “It’s true, I did thoroughly enjoy the AMAZING Beetlejuice at the Buell Theatre and I plead guilty to laughing and singing too loud.”
She added, “Everyone should go see it if you get the chance this week, and please let me know how it ends!”
There have been no further details released about this incident, and as of now no legal action is expected.
America has become bitterly divided along political lines
Whether it is in Denver or anywhere in America for that matter, politics has created a massive rift between fellow Americans.
It has become virtually impossible to attend a sporting event, musical, or play without some politically-motivated injection.
Many sporting events for example are rife with protests and demonstrations, typically pushing left-wing causes.
So it’s little surprise that many Americans would see the incident involving Boebert as another example much of the Left is incapable of looking past politics, even at what should be an apolitical event like a theatrical performance.
