Now a brazen robbery could disrupt one massive city’s entire supply chain.
Crime is up across the country, especially in Democrat-run cities.
The 30% increase in crime represented the largest one-year spike in history.
And Los Angeles is being hit particularly hard.
A brazen train robbery where criminals stole televisions and other items has underscored a growing problem.
Yes, you read that right – a train robbery.
No, you haven’t fallen back through time to the 19th Century.
Train robberies have once again become so commonplace, railroad company Union Pacific (UP) wrote a harrowing letter to Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón, pleading with him to address the crime problem.

George Gascon a letter about the mass looting of their trains & expressed frustration with Gascon’s soft on crime policies. 100+ arrests, most suspects released within 24 hours on zero bail. Gascón is one of the far-left DAs bankrolled by George Soros, so UP’s plea will likely fall on deaf ears.
Some of the grievances included in UP’s letter to Gascón were [emphasis theirs], “On average, over 90 containers [were] compromised per day. In partnership with Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD), and California HIghway Patrol (CHP), we estimate over 100 arrests have been made of active criminals vandalizing our trains. UP alone [made] several dozens of arrests.”
Despite these arrests, criminals have largely been given a slap on the wrist, or a walk altogether.
This is a hallmark of Democrats’ pro-crime policies.
Criminals get to go free and commit more crimes.
UP continued in the letter, “With our law enforcement partners we have deterred hundreds of individuals from trespassing and vandalizing our trains. Of all those arrests, however, UP has not been contacted for any court proceedings.”
The crime problem has gotten so bad, the trains are threatening not to go through Los Angeles at all.
Struggles with UP come at a time when supply chain issues across the country are already dire.
